Ever had your iphone get stuck in headphone mode? the symptoms are fairly obvious; you go to change the volume level and the little volume indicator says “ringer (headphones)” like shown below, and no audio our sound works through the normal speaker output.. No, iphone, there aren’t headphones plugged in!. your iphone is stuck on headphone mode because it thinks headphones are plugged into the headphone jack, even though they’re not. this is usually caused by a problem with the headphone jack itself. 99% of the time it’s a hardware problem, not a software problem.. Iphone wont sound any notifications this can actually cause the iphone to be stuck in headphone mode or give no audio as all! one way to try and remedy this is to turn your iphone off and put it in a sealed bag or container of rice for at least 24 hours..
